That's what the AMPAs using tribi are doing. The announcement is written once, in the app, and the app makes sure it arrives: as a notification on every family's phone, and by email for anyone who prefers it. No address lists to keep up to date and no group chat to moderate.

The whole school, members only, one year group or one class. What's meant for 3B doesn't reach 6A.
A conversation with each family
The board writes to one family, or to the ones it picks, without handing out a mobile number. And if the family replies to the email, the answer lands in the same thread in the app.
Each question to whoever handles it
Dues questions go to whoever runs dues; after-school questions, to whoever runs after-school activities. Nobody answers what isn't theirs to answer.

A message just to those signed up for the party or the school trip: «see you at 3:30 pm, bring a sandwich».

Languages
Before: an app that only speaks Spanish
And in each family'sown language
The app speaks ten languages and every family picks its own. The menus, the buttons and everything the app sends out on its own — the after-school place, the unpaid dues, tomorrow's event — reach each family in their language, without the board translating a thing.
- Spain's four co-official languages, in full: català, valencià, galego and euskara. Not a half-translated menu.
- Arabic right to left: the whole interface flips, it isn't the text dropped into a screen facing the wrong way.
- Simplified Chinese and the languages of the families school communication usually fails to reach. They are the hardest to reach, and the least likely to ask.
Romanian is already here for families; on the way: aranés and українська.

It installs in two taps,straight from the web
There is nothing to download and no Google or Apple account in the way. A family opens the AMPA link, taps «Install» and it stays on their home screen with your AMPA's name and logo, like any other app.
- On Android it's one button: install and that's it.
- On iPhone the app walks you through it — Share, «Add to Home Screen».
- Installed is also how notifications reach the phone.
- And anyone who would rather not install it uses it in the browser just the same, missing nothing.

Made by families, for families.
tribi didn't come out of a product meeting: it came out of the problems of a real AMPA — dues that wouldn't balance, the group chat with two hundred people, the spreadsheet only its author understood. Everything here exists because a school needed it, not because it looked good on a feature list.

How we decide what gets built
If your AMPA is missing something, say so. We'll build it.
There's no wish list here that dies in a support form. If you need something that isn't there and it's a good idea, it gets built — and every AMPA gets it, at no extra charge.
That's the advantage of this being run by people who also sit on a board: we know the difference between a pretty feature and the one that gives you your Sunday evening back. And if you can't find something, we won't leave you looking — we'll help.

What about 2027/2028?
For the 2027/2028 school year, beta AMPAs may choose these founding rates. They will remain in place while the subscription stays active; rates for new AMPAs may differ. We'll announce the final terms before 30 June 2027 and will never charge without the AMPA's express acceptance.

1.How long is the beta free?
R.
Until 31 August 2027. Every AMPA that registers while the Beta programme is open gets all modules free during the 2026/2027 school year, whenever they join. We don't ask for a card and we won't start any subscription automatically.
2.What happens in 2027/2028?
R.
We'll announce the final terms before 30 June 2027. Beta AMPAs will be able to choose the founder rates of €150/year up to 150 families or €300/year up to 300 families; above 300 we'll prepare a tailored proposal. You only continue if you accept expressly, and there is never an automatic charge.
3.How do families get in? Do we upload the list we already have?
R.
We don't upload your list, and that's deliberate: a family's data is entered by the family. What we give you is an AMPA sign-up link — you send it through whatever channel you already use and each family registers in a minute, with current details and consent given. And we don't leave you alone with that part: there are tutorials ready to send to families, and we'll help you get going.
4.Can we have it in our own language?
R.
Yes, and you don't have to pick one for the whole school: each family uses its own. There's Spanish, català, valencià, galego, euskara, English, français, deutsch, Arabic — with the interface right to left — and simplified Chinese. Everything the app sends out on its own — places, dues, reminders — reaches each family in their language.
5.How long does it take to get running?
R.
An afternoon to sign up, set the dues and send the first announcement. After-school activities and the canteen can wait: modules get switched on when you need them. And if you get stuck, we'll help.
6.Where is the data? Is it GDPR compliant?
R.
All data is stored on servers inside the European Union, GDPR compliant by default. No advertising and no sharing data with third parties.
7.And if one day we want to leave?
R.
The data is yours: you can export it and close the account whenever you like. Members, dues, the year's accounts and activities come out in open formats. No lock-in and no penalties.
